This is a super cool set of vintage astrology mugs. Each mug is black with gold painted zodiac signs and coordinating info. for that particular sign. There are 4 mugs in all and the signs represented are: Aquarius, Libra, Virgo and Cancer. The back of each mug lists the planet of that sign, the birth dates, gem, flower, color, numbers, 3 famous people who were also that sign and a few adjectives to describe people under that sign. For example...the Aquarius mug reads: "Saturn-Planet; Air-Element; Leo-Complement; Infulential, inspiring and eager, You are a lover of mankind- i.e., Abraham Lincoln, J. Benny and F.D. Roosevelt; Gem-Amethyst; Flower-Violet; Color-Violet; Numbers: 7,11; January 20-February 18 Each mug also has a picture of that sign on the front as well. So cool! All mugs are marked with an "F" logo on the bottom. Two say "heat proof" All mugs are in overall excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. There is slight paint loss around the upper edges as well as slight scratches on the mugs, but nothing that detracts from the overall look. What a unique way to have your coffee!
